Is It Uniting Or Dividing?

Is It Uniting Or Dividing?

Voice & Vision

We’re coming to a head on what is probably one of the worst, or possibly the worst, presidential election ever. At this point in time, it is very likely not an overreaction to wonder whether the United States will still be here in a few years.

This is not a Democrat vs Republican issue, though most (wrongly) argue it from that position. This is about: Will this American experiment continue or will we fracture into a smattering of worthless regional nation-states like the breakup of the Soviet Union?

The Democrats have managed to box themselves into an incompetent corner which will be exceedingly difficult to escape. Conversely, the Republicans have jumped head-first off a cliff and managed to take a third of the county with them on their way down to the jagged rocks below.

If (when) Trump wins the Presidency in 2024, I very much fear this will be the beginning of the end for us all.

I can understand how the ‘Right’ may think the country is going to hell with the direction the ‘Left’ has chosen. And normally, the Left thinks about the same of the Right. However, now the choice is between a Left shit-show and a Right apocalypse.

How many out there on the local, state, or national stage do you see attempting to unite? Not many, if any, unfortunately. If enough people can’t pull their collective heads out of their asses and start working together, we’re all in for some serious trouble in just the next few years.

If you care about this country, stop choosing sides and start choosing solutions. Read. Listen. Think. Then ask yourself, is what you’re sharing, saying, or supporting uniting or dividing?
