Are We Bathing Or Boiling?
I'm pretty sure we're boiling.

The United States time as a world leader may be coming to an end.
Across the globe, many nations are working diligently on advancement. Examples include AI, nuclear technology, medicine, many are also diligently focusing on educating their populations.
The United States on the other hand, is now preoccupied on returning labor jobs to the US. Higher education and training is being vilified. Additionally, public and private pipelines for research and development are being scrapped.
Within a handful of years we may see a fundamental shift to another nation as world leader. The United States destiny might be to languish on as an example of what could have been, but was wasted.
It seems much of the population of the U.S. wants to significantly regress instead of progress, particularly in education. Perplexingly, this group also seems to take pride in this position. Tiny kings basking in the marvel of our self-delusion.
How this many people have come to support such a self-defeating ideal is beyond me. But, a self-sabotaging group this large definitely explains a lot about our current situation. This reminds me of something out of an old cartoon. One where the character is sitting in a large pot obliviously thinking he’s taking a bath when actually it’s a large cooking pot.
Fingers crossed enough people wake up and come to their senses before we wind up on someone’s geopolitical agenda dinner plate.
