Bluesky
Help!
By TLS
A week or so ago while rummaging around in the Substack settings I came across an option to link this Substack account to Bluesky. I don’t know why it caught my attention, since I didn’t even know what Bluesky was, but it did. So I went.
I looked up “what is Bluesky?” Most of you probably already know this but it’s like Twitter, only described as “…a place where people aren’t as mean.” I’m not on Twitter, and I doubt I will be. However, my Substack page, while admittedly still very very new, wasn’t getting much traffic.
[I haven’t pimped my friends or family with this site, I’m essentially starting cold. No one I know, knows about it.]
So I thought Bluesky might be a good way to cast a bigger net. Turned out it was, my site views went up significantly almost immediately. I’m essentially advertising there, for here. Then I thought, why not try the reverse?
I still don’t have any subscriber’s here, it’s ok, I can take it, snifle snifle…. But, interpretting my stats data, it seems I have a group of people who keep coming back to view. My ‘user’ number is going up slowly, but my ‘views’ number is going up rather quickly. So it seems, I may have a small tenuous audience. Fingers crossed!
So here is my request: If anyone is on Bluesky, please look me up, Multiple Views and…News? and like, follow, or share that site. Help me get an even bigger net.
That’s it, thank you so very much for stopping and reading!
