BBQ Ribs, Baked Potato, & a Bottle of Highland Scotch Whisky.

Ohhhh, why does there have to be health consequences?!
If there were no such thing as health consequences I would eat ribs, and steak, and lasagna, and alfredo, and such every day. I would also wash it all down with a bottle, or two, of whisky each day as well.
Big sighhhhhh, but that’s not how it is. Unfortunately, if we want a decent chance of making it past 45 (or be able to climb a set of stairs) we have to behave, at least some.
So, I eat broccoli, and cauliflower, and salad, often. I don’t drink a bottle, or two, of whisky each day either. Another big sighhhh.
I guess I can’t complain too much, I do actually like that healthy stuff. And, drinking a whole bottle of Scotch a day can tend to leave one feeling a bit gritty the next.
I guess I’ll continue to eat well, and not drink (too much…most of the time), and exercise (oh yeah, there’s that too). Maybe I’ll make it past 55, or even 65. If I can stick around long enough, maybe science will eventually be able to grant my wish. Finger’s crossed. On second thought…I’ll drink to that!
